Barnaby Draper is a fashion, rock, and portrait photographer with a career built on capturing the world’s most exclusive experiences — 15 years covering the By Invitation Only program for American Express, globally. His clients include Dave Matthews (five albums), John Mayer, and Diane von Furstenberg, and he has taught at the International Center of Photography in New York.
That work has taken him behind the scenes with the industry’s most decorated chefs — Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Massimo Bottura, Mauro Colagreco, René Redzepi, Michael Solomonov, Masaharu Morimoto, Grant Achatz, Nancy Silverton, Stephanie Izard, Clare Smyth, and Richard Blais, among many others — as well as marquee sporting events including the Monaco Grand Prix, the US Open, Wimbledon, the French Open, the Kentucky Derby, and the World Cup in both Brazil and Russia. His entertainment work includes dozens of movie premieres — among them Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Melissa McCarthy — and concerts with Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Florida Georgia Line, and John Legend.
He has photographed Pebble Beach Food & Wine, Aspen Food & Wine, and Harvest Napa Valley, as well as elaborate culinary journeys through Bordeaux, Champagne, Burgundy, Napa Valley, and Jackson Hole.
Raised in Paris and fluent in French, Barnaby brings a natural ease to work abroad — and a lifelong discipline that extends beyond the camera; he is also a four-time Men’s Physique Champion. Based between New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, he brings the same discretion, polish, and eye for the decisive moment to every assignment, whether it’s a private dinner for twelve or a red carpet with thousands watching.
